Under

There is a place … to be, a layer, supporting presence, a something, which is not trying, to pretend or to prove.

This place is under and we are standing for it because it is here for us.

Just under.

Maybe under is not visible. What do you see, hear, feel? What is under? Here we meet, here we connect.

Here is a map: we navigate through different terrains, move between steering and being steered and in-formed… composing and decomposing in this very moment,.. a gesture, atmosphere, a state..

We under-stand, as in: Standing UNDER at the edge of time & space, me & you… We “let the soft animal of our body love what it loves”*

*Quote from Mary Oliver’s poem ’Wild Geese’

The whole quote: „You do not have to be good. / You do not have to walk on your knees / For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting. / You only have to let the soft animal of your body / love what it loves.”

After Oceanhand and Earthing, KiT Ensemble is offering a quintessence of their work, gathering researching again and again, what that means to share what they love with an audience: dancing without knowing, what will happen.
